Don’t want to speculate, but I’m going to guess that that’s Cruz’s season. My guess is he tore his knee apart on that play. That looked really bad.

Cruz looked pretty badly hurt on that awkward slide at the plate. Hope it's not serious

Reminded me of the play against the Cubs in 2015 that ruined Jung Ho Lang’s season. Hope I’m wrong…

He was pointing to his knee and the replay looked like he and the catcher collided knee to knee with the knee covering of the catcher's shin guard adding to the problem. And if there was also a twisted ankle, it wouldn't surprise me.

Oviedo pulled after 6.2 innings. Loved the stare at the White Sox bench. Not sure what a switch hitter has to do with him being pulled.
