Would love to see us add Teheran to the rotation along with Wacha. Romine or Castro as catcher. Calhoun as OF. And a reliever...This team might be fun to watch come spring. Fingers crossed over the new hire and soon to be field skipper! Better than going forward with the group of clowns in Huntington, Stark and company...Last year was painful for this long time Bucs fan....

Just like negotiating your salary when deciding to take a job, Cherington would be a fool if he didn’t get some assurances that he would get more financial backing than his predecessor.

I really think that the only way that the Pirates can start competing is if they can identify and sign outstanding international talent. They need to uncover a Soto, Robles, Puig, Chapman, etc

They will never pay market value for upper echelon free agent talent.
