Actually, I believe it is the only reason he was capable of hitting a home run at all.



Rest is not only critical, it is the only thing that is important when you are fighting for the worst record in the league.

Need a lot more runs. Kuhl has that look of 4-5 runs and 5 IP today. Gets ahead of guys can't put them away right off. Walks a guy can't pick up Frazier's error.



Has to get the pitcher. Pitch count approaching 40 already

just think how good Shelton could be if he rested himself more.

Hayes walks with two outs. Steals second. As soon as he does, Reynolds, who was down 0-2, ends up getting walked.



Basically took the bat out of his hands. Gamel can do it!
