Williams was masterful.  Defense was steady.    Kang and Frazier should have had a 5-4-3 DP ball turned early but bobbled. Hard to know on a 5-4-3 if    Kang also took an extra step on a toughish play coming in as well.

Should have either got the DP on one, or got that out coming towards home throwing across the body.

-1 out Kang.    0 on year.

Good win.  lets win this series vs cards.  Get out of the gate strong.

I’m sure it’s cliche comparison, but Williams has some hints of Maddox in the way he pitches.
From what I've seen of him he just works at his craft. He seems smart, (except for the tattoos),and maximizes his talents. The thing I notice about him as how he uses his whole body, not just his arm. He looks like a guy who could be around for a long time, I'd try and get him under team control for as long as possible. No one knows how this plays out but the odds are, he should get a extension and a big raise.

Also --- Melky now looks like a catcher running the bases.
