Bucs

1. Josh VanMeter (L) 2B

2. Bryan Reynolds (S) CF

3. Ke'Bryan Hayes (R) 3B

4. Ben Gamel (L) LF

5. Michael Chavis (R) 1B

6. Yoshi Tsutsugo (L) DH

7. Oneil Cruz (L) SS

8. Cal Mitchell (L) RF

9. Tyler Heineman (S) C

JT Brubaker (R) SP

Cubs

1. Rafael Ortega (L) CF

2. Willson Contreras (R) C

3. Seiya Suzuki (R) RF

4. Ian Happ (S) LF

5. Nico Hoerner (R) SS

6. Patrick Wisdom (R) 3B

7. Frank Schwindel (R) DH

8. Alfonso Rivas (L) 1B

9. Christopher Morel (R) 2B

Adrian Sampson (R) SP

This lineup stinks with Yoshi and VanMeter in it. Shelty needs to be demoted to coaching in a T-ball league where every kid gets to play.

I'm having a psychic vision: Greg Brown, "Ha, ha, ha. I can't wait to say more catch phrases. Ha, ha, ha. Now here's Bryan Reynolds with one out and nobody on."

This season, I have little to no expectation the Pirates will win the next game they'll play but it's demoralizing to see VanMeter's name in the line-up. Enough already.

Disappointing Van Meter is starting. But, there is a darn good chance the lead off spot ends the game with one more at bat than the seventh spot. Wouldn’t you want Cruz getting one more at bat than Van Meter?

Now I really like the T ball reference

Only took 4 pitches to send VanMeter walking back to the dugout.

VanMeter strikes out. At least he is predictable

VanMeter is valuable because he can bat anywhere in the lineup.

He just can't hit anywhere in the lineup.
