All-Star break

Just wanted to say...I hate the All-Star break. Four days with really no baseball. I'm a big football fan, and going a week between games doesn't seem that bad, but four days with no baseball...unbearable.

Yes! but the traditional day off after opening day somehow seems worse.

But that's just so that in case of rain, the fans who bought tickets specifically to see the opening day ceremonies can still see it the next day instead of having to exchange them for a game later in the season.

I can live with the open date after the home opener for the reasons explained above.

As for the AS break, yes 4 days is too many. One day before and one day after the game is fine for me. The Bucs should be playing tonight in Wrigleyville instead of starting the series tomorrow.

Well, see, the problem is you don't appreciate the need for rest after some time off. Mr. Hurdle will explain this to you.
