Reynolds reaches base with a walk. He and Davis are the only two starters without a hit

reynolds to second on a wild pitch/passed ball not sure what was ruled yet

ruled a passed ball, I agree with that call...it was low breaking in the dirt, but catcher just put a casual backhand at it

Cutch strikes out, dang it

Priester strikes out Machado for the first out, then walks Bogaerts. At 89 pitches he's pulled, Borucki coming on.
Much improved performance from his first start.

Good game by Priester. Hung one curve ball, but he tossed a bunch of beauties. More velocity tonight too. A good start.

Santana can only get the lead runner on a tough short hop that he had a bobble on, comes back to bite the Bucs as Campusano doubles and the runner scores from first.
Suwinski went into a slide to stop the ball, threw it in to Peguero who dropped it, but I don't think there was any steam on Jack's throw to begin with

8-4 now.
I don't get how Priester gets tagged with that run. His guy was eliminated on the play to second. I thought for sure that was Borucki's run.
So if two guys are on, no outs. a ball is hit twice, and both of those guys are outs on the two hits. Then a guy hits a 3 run HR. Those two other hits that score would be charged to the guy who was pulled after allowing the first two guys on?
