Peguero with an infield single, Endy scores, Marcano tries for third, and looks to have ripped up his knee trying to avoid the tag, he's down and it's not looking good

Carrying him off the field, he's not putting any weight on the leg.

Another bad injury break for the Pirates, another freak injury on the base paths.

His knee didn't buckle backwards, it buckled to the inside

Again, more heads up base running as he saw no one at third, but Bogaerts was able to get over in time and he was out easily, he stepped awkwardly trying to avoid the tag as he wasn't close enough to slide

Okay, he keeps it there.

Priester is looking like a right handed version of Rich Hill right now. When his breaking stuff is working, he's unhittable. However, without much of a fastball, sooner or later one of those breaking balls doesn't break, and kaboom.

At least he isn't walking people.

Suwinski leading off, a triple shy of the cycle. Padres take out the left handed pitcher for a righty.....hope this backfires!

Suwinski needs a triple for the cycle.
