Well putting Brault In has worked so far back to back walks after getting the pitcher out. No lead is safe when he pitches. Durapau could have went one more inning.

And Frazier boots an easy DP ball. We’re going to find a way to blow this game, aren’t we?

Let me see if I have this straight. The Bucs use DuRapau as an opener in order to avoid starting Brault, who can't be trusted because he routinely walks everyone. DuRapau pitches 2 great innings and is then removed so that Brault can enter and.....walk everyone.

Brault luckily gets Renfroe to hit into a double play to get out of the inning. The Pirates dodged a big bullet there.

Brault seems like a great guy, but he is not a very good pitcher.

Durapau could have at least started the 3rd inning and if he got in trouble then you can take him out. No reason in the world to let Brault start that 3rd inning and the Pirates were very lucky things didn’t end up much worse for Brault after he walked 3 batters.

What did everybody think about Montana’s slider.

I thought it was flat out nasty!

Looked good. One good thing about all the injuries, it’s forced them to give opportunities to Tucker, Reynolds, and Montana.
