They're going on and on about why pitch to Perez with the pitcher probably going to bat.



Because Perez is hitting .143, meaning and 86% chance he's going to make an out, making the OTHER manager decide whether to leave the pitcher in or bat him lead off next inning (if he makes it through the top of the inning)



I understand their logic, but they're not considering who is hitting.

If The Bootlicker was able to turn back the clock and give us The Good But Not Great Young of '97 to '02, he'd be one of our better players today! ;)

I don't think Crowe is an answer for the rotation, but I like him better than Keller.



He looks like he can be a Chris Stratton type in the future though.
