Does anyone know what the average has been so far? We had restrictions etc. but watching other games it certainly seems there are quite a few people in the stands

For some reason, it's down with the fielding stats. Looks like they're about half league average.

As of today = 204,626 which comes to a whopping 6,395 a game. Bright side I'm thinking it is a very affordable ticket.

If they're working toward 2023 or 2024, what's the motivation to go now?

And this is coming from someone who's generally on board with the whole plan of trading everyone and acquiring prospects. Imagine if you're a casual fan and all you see is a bunch of mediocre players getting their asses kicked. Even less motivation for them.

That's sort of like asking someone to admit to buying a Spice Girls CD. No one will admit to it. They sold millions.

By my math, the Pirates have been allowed ~20K.

I think they got over 10K in one of the Dodger games.

Their promotion for next Saturday is an umbrella to the first 20K fans, which pretty much accounts for everyone.

Next Friday is a fireworks game, and looking at the available tickets, even with it being against Cleveland, as the saying goes, "plenty of good tickets available". Same for Saturday and Sunday.

Those who are wanting no one to show up to games in the hope it hurts BN, are getting their wish
