I switched to the Red Sox broadcast to get their impressions of some of the Pirates young players. What a bunch of pompous a-holes. I know we suck right now but the Sox announcers were brutal.

They said when they were in KC they could see some legitimate young talent on the Royals.

They said the Pirates don’t resemble any team they have ever seen.

The line up “is a hodge podge of nothingness”

The team is “absolutely pathetic.”

The payroll is a joke. Can’t believe BC would come here.

One of the announcers said that the Farm System was teaming with prospects. The other announcer said you mean more “suspects” don’t you.

Screw the Sox!

I always hear that the players play hard for Shelton. I guess that means they don't jog to 1B. But I see Cruz miss pop ups 2 games in a row. Reynolds drops a fly ball. Castro forgets he has a phone in his pocket. The next day Castro throws back to 3B for a rundown instead of a routine 5-4-3 DP. This seems like players are not focused. Not making routine plays. Maybe the losing is getting to them. I don't think players are tanking but I don't think they are playing hard when so many routine plays get botched.

Madris now 2 for his last 34, 13 for last 87.

Maybe part of his role is to make Cruz look good at the plate. Cruz who is 9 -52
