who is the #4 prospect for 2020

Now it should get interesting. The first three rounds we could have even skipped, they were all blowouts, now the 4th round there isn't (in my mind) a clear-cut favorite., Cruz wins #3 with 71.7% of the vote and some lively banter. Added PP's #9 prospect.

Who are you voting for? Why? I won't tell you my choice because i don't want to sway anyone to voting for someone because the guy who runs the poll doesn't know them better than anyone else does.

The results so far:

1. Mitch Keller, SP, 23, AAA/ML, 63.2% of the votes

2. Ke'Bryan Hayes, 3B, 22, AAA 79.6% of the votes

3. O'Neil Cruz, 21, SS?, High A, 71.7% of the votes

I did Travis Swaggerty. Swaggerty sounds like a fine Pirate name.

I'm for Priester here.

I think this is too high for Bolton, I'd probably have Mitchell, Swaggerty and Thomas all above Bolton. This will be his fourth year in the system and he's thrown a grand total of 170 innings. And basically, he's considered a prospect due to 60 great innings as a 20 year old in a pitcher friendly league. Priester has the pedigree as a top draft prospect and looked great in his pro debut.

Sammy, he does have a cool name. But his stats have been even colder. I'm thinking he's a bust. This year in AA will tell.

I like Bolton because he is further along in his development than Priester. No doubt that Priester has much better upside than Bolton but he is further away from MLB than Bolton.

I voted for Mason Martin.

Based my vote on article that was in Bucs Dugout which described his dedication to working out and improving.

I will vote for Priester next round (if he doen't win this one).

Typically I don't like to vote for anyone just drafted.

I kind of think we need to see how Martin's K% goes as he moves up the system. Seems like the power is more than legit, but it might not play if there are contact issues.

is Kevin Kramer still considered a prospect? Jason Martin?

I look forward to seeing how some under the radar, big performers will do this season.

That is big question for me too. I think it is an issue with Will Craig (and he walks less) as he has struck out more the more he has advanced.
