There could be some signings this week because Friday is the day in which teams and players submit arbitration salary figures. Also on Friday is the date to begin signing International Players. It will be good to read about some Pirates news.

I can wait if the new guys who are added are rated in the Offseason Thread as 1s or 2s, or worse. If Cherington replaces all but Hayes and Reynolds in the starting line-up with 1s and 2s, that might improve the club by maybe two to three games in the standings. With that kind of progress, the team should be in the Series by 2045 or so.

All 9 of arbitration Pirate players have come to terms. No hearings this year.
