Bell hits more like Matty Alou than Willie Stargell so batting leadoff can't hurt. Maybe he can beat out some infield hits while chopping down on the ball. ::)

And yet another early, insurmountable deficit. And 3 of the 5 Phillies runs reached on 2 walks and a HBP.
