The race to the 2022 #1 draft pick

The 2021 Bucs are just not watchable right now.

No top prospects to watch at the ML level.

Just a bunch of scrubs and cast offs from other teams

Therefore I will turn my attention to the race for the #1 2022 draft pick.

The Bucs are only 4 games behind the Tigers

Only the Tigers, Rockies, and Orioles are ahead of the Bucs

Not the Orioles (15-19). Only the Tigers and Rockies.

Twins are much better than the Pirates. They will get it going. They have talent on that roster. It's going to be between us, Colorado and Detroit.

Detroit is going to be pretty tough to overtake, we actually made them look inferior. We get them again Sept. 6-8

Colorado has an advantage of having to play the Dodgers 19 times (they're already 1-6 against them) and 19 against the Padres, who they play three times this week and three times next week.

We get the Rockies for 3 here at PNC at the end of the month, and we go there the last 3 days in June.

Those 9 games against the Rockies and Tigers will go a long way in settling the race to the bottom.

It's early, but I think Detroit is just too bad to overcome.
