This was his second time, right? He passed through the last time without getting claimed. I wonder if he makes it again. At least this time he got some at bats. He just didn't seem to be able to square up the ball.

Another NH product cleared out. Hope he gets a chance somewhere else. But even if he turns it around no regrets. He's had more than enough time and chances.

Most likely his time in organization is done and his evaluation is now completed.

This was the logical move. When they DFA'd him earlier and then assigned him to AAA they probably hoped they would never be so shorthanded at 1B that he would have to be recalled. Even in the minors the best he did was hit 20 and 23 HRs with BAs in the .240s and a lot of Ks. And he can't even make solid contact vs MLB pitchers. I think this time they learned that there is no reason to even keep him in the minors assuming he clears waivers. A total bust as a NH #1 draft pick.
