11 walks so far in the Texas-Houston game, it's only in the bottom of the 5th....and only 3 runs have been scored in the game.

I was watching the Yankees- Red Sox game earlier. Domingo German of the Yankees had a no hitter after 7 and the Yankees had a 4-0 lead. He gives up one hit in the 8th and is taken out. The Red Sox then proceed to score 5 in the bottom of the 8th and go on to win 5-4. The animals in the Bronx Zoo are not very happy

It's interesting that stats for starting pitchers now mean absolutely nothing to managers. They will pull them for any reason, often on a whim. However, managers still manage their BPs strictly to amass save stats for their closer.

The Orioles beat the Nats today 5-4. They did it with a lineup that ended up with 6 players hitting .218 or less. 5 of them were hitting .205 or less. And 4 of them were hitting .197 or less. And the lineup included a DH.

They’re sometimes known as the Pirates of the American League.

For a good part of the season, we had a lineup that would have said, "hold my beer" to that!

The Yankees blow a four run 8th inning lead and lose to the Red Sox. That’s a shame.

Would have been better had it been to that Orioles lineup
