Since this won't be the last time this happens, is MLB going to come up with a name for these feats by multiple pitchers? Will they be referred to in some way? Like maybe, pseudo-hitter?

Padres relief pitcher Daniel Camarena hit a grand slam off Max Scherzer. It was only his 2nd MLB AB.

That's for all those who have distain for the designated hitter

The Nats had an 8-0 lead in that game. The Padres trailed 8-2 in the 4th and let Camarena bat with the bases loaded and 2 outs because they seemed to be throwing in the towel and just wanted to get some low leverage innings from the rookie in only his 2nd MLB game. He golfed a low FB from Max Scherzer for a GS to make it 8-6 and they won 9-8.

Camarena was only recalled from AAA earlier in the day (having been in 1 game three weeks ago before being optioned). He's a local San Diego guy and his family was there just hoping he might get in the game at some point.

The winning pitcher for SD was Mark Melancon.

It seems he has been around forever. He last pitched for the Pirates in 2016. He has been with quite a few teams. I checked his ERA this year. 2.81Seems to be getting better with age (36)

Ronald Acuna Jr. tore his ACL on the play. He is out for the season.

I wish him a complete recovery. He is one of my favorite players. I'm always hoping someone runs on him, just to see that throw.

They definitely will be buyers- wonder if they will make a pitch for Reynolds?

What they need is an experienced right fielder, and I have just the guy in mind.
