BA is up by .007 since the crackdown.

I dont have my calculator with me.  Sounds insignificant to me.

Even if not, that small of a difference won't generate many more runs without other things happening.
.007 would be enough to get Polanco over the Mendoza line! That .007 would help him Bond with his teammates.
Small Market teams presently over 500.

Rays- 47-35

Brewers 50-33

Reds      41-40

Indians   42-37

Not sure if Seattle falls in the category of small market ( help me out)  44-39
Reds beat Cubs 3-2 to move into 2nd place
Cubs lose their 9th in a row and get swept by the Reds

As hot as those DC Nats were in June, looks like they've cooled off some this month so far. They- and and the others- are going to need to win their division. I don't see the WCs coming out of anywhere but out West.

I enjoy seeing races for the division a lot more than seeing races for what amounts to play-in games. Let's see who adds 'em, who holds 'em, and who folds 'em.

Batter's up!

Indians get no-hit in a bullpen game by 5 relievers in a 7 inning D/H game so it doesn't count.
