Two series played so far this season and two series losses. I wonder how many series the Pirates will win this year? Can they win five or more?

Little contest on another board about the BUCS. 7 was the highest guess on the number of series they will win. What saddened me was Sept. was the month picked by most when the Pirate win total will surpass the Steelers 2020 win total plus the Pens win totals.

Don’t know if anybody heard Shelton last night after the game when they asked him about putting Evans into pitch but he responded with something like “well he just wanted to prove to Joe Musgrove that he can pitch and show him it’s not hard.” I find it very odd that Shelton gave an answer like that about a guy who isn’t even on the team anymore and after you just got your ass kicked and gave up 14 runs.

I still wanna see more of Shelton before I can make a clear assessment of him as a manager and I know he doesn’t have a ton to work with, but hearing him say stuff like this after losing 14-1 in response to a question is very annoying and something I just don’t wanna hear from my manager after getting clobbered by 13 runs.
