Big answer by Polanco to give the Bucs the lead back at 2-1. McCutchen just continues to look lost and awful at the plate. Getting frustrating to watch every single game anymore.

Hopefully get one more solid inning out of Niese and then turn this game over to this bullpen which has been phenomenal the last few weeks. I'm using Melancon today if I'm Hurdle. These games now are too important to worry about not using a guy a 4th day in a row. The All Star Break is next week guys can rest then and get their time off. These games with both the Cards and Cubs this week for the Pirates are way too important to worry about little things like that.

Bullpen was shaky yesterday. Schugel immediately gave up a double, then a long out, then a walk and a smash down the 1B line that would have tied the game but Freese snagged it on the base for a DP. Feliz gave up hits to his first 2 batters but then got out of it. Watson gave up a 1-out single but then got a DP. Can't put so many men on base and keep getting out of it.

He looks like he could be one part of the puzzle fixing this seriously leaking ship. If he could be dominate in late innings the pen nay start to come together.
