Yeah. Gonzalez has been hitting and Todd Frazier could handle 3B until Hayes returns. Newman's gotta be on thin ice.

Raise it. 3rd series win out of the last 4 with the 4 game split with the Padres in the middle. This bullpen has been really good. It’s a huge reason why this team is playing such good baseball these last 2 weeks.

Next series against another team, the Twins, that is struggling.

Hoping that the Bucs can continue to make progress. If they take 2 of 3, they will be at .500 after the first 22 games of the season.

Almost unimaginable with the way this team started out.

The pen has been a real asset over the past 12 games.

9-10 through the first 19 games is very good. Moran, Frazier, Reynolds and Gonzalez have had timely hitting. The bullpen has been outstanding. The starting pitching has had its moments, and prior to today the centerfield position was awful. I think we all would agree to sign up for 9 wins in 19 games anytime.

Yea I’m with you nobody in their right mind had this team at .500 after almost 20 games they just didn’t. I know we are only 3 weeks into the season but so far the Pirates have got to be one of the big surprises in baseball so far for the month of April. The fact that this team has played this well without Ke’Bryan Hayes as well these first few weeks is truly remarkable. I most definitely did not see this coming.

I hate to think ahead and then get disappointed but when I saw the Twins next up I too had visions of being over .500 after the series. Kind of BUC proud at the moment.

BEAT EM BUCS!! [smiley=beer.gif]
