Anyone intelligent enough to get into Vanderbilt has got to be weighing the pros and cons of sitting out a year if drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates. If he's NOT thinking about that, then he's too stupid and I wouldn't want him.

Stallings? Who knows. We got a lot of guys who will be good at something else some day. They aren't good now. Regardless, he can't be any worse than his dad was at it.

I’m hoping once Hayes is back healthy we start seeing him more in the lineup and I’d rather see Tucker playing more in the outfield over Heredia until Polanco is back healthy. You can’t expect much out of this lineup with guys like Dyson and Heredia starting every night. Their defense is solid but they aren’t going to hit and help this offense at all.

Agree. I'm always delusional in April about how well the team will do but this year even I can see we're not going to win many games. This year is all about watching the progress of individual guys: esp. Tucker, Hayes, Keller. But also: Reynolds, Newman, Musgrove, Burdi, etc.

It's sort of like....testing.

If we don't play many games, we won't look so bad.  ;)
