Last night it took 2 innings to fall behind 7-0. The Pirates are more efficient tonight.

It’s the kind of sparkling play we’ve come to expect. Shelton just needs to keep playing him so Polanco will improve over these next two months.

I think it’s very sportsman-like of the Bucs to always give the opposing team a head start.

Apparently, the 7 run head start was not sufficient.

OK ... people have said that 2022 will be better. With very few options ready to infiltrate this lousy starting rotation, can someone explain how next year will be better. We won't be adding anyone good in free agency and out pick ups will be off the bone pile.

Can you ask a question that’s easier to answer, like, how big is space”?

Geez, guys.  What is with this Pooplanco stuff?  And Evans who has over welcomed his stay in MLB.  Where is Moran?  He should be in there simply because he is more likely to hit a dinger than anyone else but Reynolds.  This lineup is just too darn horrifying for me to watch.   >:( >:( >:( >:(
Welcome to Shelty ball Hoy Park. Have a rest.
Park had 2 hits in each of the last 2 games. That's a mandatory benching for Shelton. We joke about that but it really does seem that he "rewards" hot players by making them sit out a game. As much as he starts Polanco, he gave him an infrequent day off the day after Polanco had 2 hits and made a game saving catch.

Shelton has said he likes the 7 inning d/h games because it limits the innings they have to play. He likes to limit his starting pitchers to 5 innings and 70-80 pitches. And he likes to give his players days off. It really does seem that he doesn't believe players should play too much and very possibly sees not playing as a reward for playing well. I wonder if he's telling Park tonight "You've earned a night off."
I have come to the conclusion that Shelton reads Onlybucs.net and just wants to pi$$ us off

BOB reads it.

Ben reads it.

Shelty reads it.

The players read it.

Joe Block reads it.

Next season's schedule maker reads it.....
