Good point, but bostick should be in the dugout if that's the case.   He can play CF and he's hit fine in Indy.   Adam Frazier and SRod are not acceptable in CF when he's a phone call away.

Then again, Meadows can't really play CF either so I guess there's that. Certainly better than SRod or Frazier though.

Bostick, for whatever reason, is well on his way down the Hansen trail. I'm not sure why it is, but there are players in the minors with good stats who never get a chance to see if they can do it at the ML level. My guess is that there are good reasons I don't understand but sometimes I really wonder.

Seriously?

By then a million different factors could change things and turn everything upside down ... including the Pirates trading Meadows as soon as he gets good.

He appears to be an elite player.

We have 2 OFs hurt and they'll probably miss the weekend and the Pirates will be stubborn and try to play the weekend 2 men short.

Meadows should be up right now.

Frazier should be down. (Or one of the 2 injured should be on the DL if they are going to miss 5+ games).
Just for the sake of accuracy, it's 3 years down the road. Normally arbitration is granted in the 4th year. Super 2 eligibility grants arb in the 3rd year.

Our defense is back to being terrible.   Jeez.   Glasnow having to pitch through a 5 out inning because of these clowns

Now he's losing it.   Walks next batter.    He's getting easy ground balls right at people who are unable to convert the out.

You cannot.mess.with Glasnows psyche.  He will lose it quickly.   Defense must do it's job

Induces another soft groundballs to Freese who forgets that there's two outs a and the runner on 2nd is running on the pitch.

Takes two steps towards third before he realizes he's not going to beat the runner to the bag, proceeds to try to sidearm the ball to first. Throw is offline and late. Mets score.

This isn't legion ball, this is the majors.

Rodriguez appears as if he is back to his old ways of sucking these last few games. Clint has started him 5 of the 7 games since the break and that’s just way too many in my opinion. I don’t want to see him playing centerfield all weekend if both Marte and Dickerson are down. Call Meadows back up and improve this lineup.
