I am surprised they did not bring up Boshers. They could send down Neverauskas. Get another lefty in the bullpen.

Wish we'd at least have given him a chance to start this year.

Anyway, 8-0 Pirates.

I hope Glasnow becomes immediately dominant in the worst way.   My motives are alterier.   I've wanted mythical Searage gone for a couple years now and Glasnow making it may FINALLY be the last straw.

I still read people talk about "uncle Ray" fixing guys and "wait until Uncle Ray works with him".  I don't know what it will take to get us a new pitching coach and a new philosophy, but perhaps Glasnow being immediately dominant will finally do it.

This was a huge game tonight for the Pirates to win. Got a pretty good shot to win the series now tomorrow with Archer on the mound. They really need to get that one as well.

Hope Bostick gets a chance somewhere he has earned it . The Boshers guy looks pretty good Neil digging deep to find players .[/quot

very surprised that Bostick was number 40 on the 40 man roster.   Don't know why s-rod didn't go first.

great win tonight. Complete game for Jameson!

Ummm.. let's see what we've got cooking here. Cole an ace , Morton a borderline ace and now maybe Glasnow too ? Could be embarrassing ... no ?

All this bashing in this thread seems to overlook the fact that Tallion performed like a Ace and also like the old time term Stopper. He put the end to a 3 game losing streak and set up a possible series victory with another high caliber starter going for the Bucs in Archer tonite. Come on guys lets think good things the rest of the year.

Taillon now leads the NL with 2 CGs. 4 AL pitchers also have 2.

Boy how things have changed. Vern Law pitched 18 complete games in 1960.
