Keller's MLB debut: 3 batters: bases loaded, no one out. :(

And a single and a grand slam and it's 5-0. Great debut.

I don't blame Keller. He is not ready for the BigTime yet. Needs more work at AAA. I do blame TBMTIB for their lack of intelligence when it comes to getting a living breathing backup starter or two in the off-season. No way should a team have to bring up their top prospect unless he was pitching lights-out in AAA. Shame on you TBMTIB!

welp, the injuries and lack of moves by the FO

have led to a major "Glasnow-ing" of Keller

maybe in 2.5 years or so Tampa Bay will take him off our hands if we package him with a top prospect and take a vet off their hands

No worries. Lots of hall of famers gave up a grand slam and 6 runs in their first inning of work.

At least his second inning can’t be any worse!

Greg Brown just put up a stat that for Pirates who began their careers 1969 or later, the best BA for their first 30 games is Chris Duffy (.376), Wehner (.352), Meadows (.330), Lind (.328) and Bryan Reynolds (.319). Seems they forgot about Gene Clines (.438).
