Thanks for the memory Bobster. A glorious day for a 12 yr old kid not too long into Pirate fanhood. And that fanhood has lasted through thick and thin until this day.

I was on a bus, coming home from school, listening on a transistor radio. Still one of the greatest moments in baseball. I had all but given up until Hal Smith hit his home run.
