Jason Mackey is reporting that the Bucs signed Shalin Polanco as an International Signing. His bonus is $2.35 million.

Another signee, Esmerlyn Valdez, is interesting because he's a power-first player. Something new for the Pirates.

They also have a bat-first catcher who's expected to sign. Plus a pitcher who supposedly has a promising changeup.

Now they just have to develop these guys. Having a ceiling of high-A isn't going to cut it.
