Interesting all the attention going Cole's way with regard to sticky substances. Ton of pressure for his next start.


Good stuff about the substances, but also about the troubles the Yankees are having.  While the Pirates might at least get some pity, no one will ever feel sorry for the Yankees.  I found the little nugget about LeMahieu's aging, and the need for left handed hitting to be interesting. I wonder if Cashman has approached Cherington about Frazier?

Cole used a lot of words to avoid admitting to using the sticky substance. A simple "no" would have sufficed if it was the answer.



"I don’t quite know how to answer that, to be honest."
