Verlander signs with the Astros. $25 mil with a $25 mil player option for 2023. I wish we had an owner who would shell out that kind of money for a broken down starting pitcher. >:( >:( >:(

Just a friendly suggestion.....couple recent posts edging eerily close to saying that we have a cheap owner. I've been told that it's frowned upon. Besides, it's criticizing him for not doing what we'd like him to do. Carry on.

If the Astros owner agreed to pay Verlander that amount of money, then he must feel he’s worth it and will get an acceptable return for his money.

If the Astros owner agreed to pay Verlander that amount of money, then he must feel he’s worth it and will get an acceptable return for his money.
