To be fair, the mess has been a mess for a lot longer than that. The period of quality was the anomaly, not any norm. So, I wouldn't think that being good is to be expected.



On the one hand, I say that we're better than 2022.



On the other, I see a Reds team that had the identical record as we did last year. What have the Reds done that we haven't, or what have we done that the Reds haven't been doing?

I'm not even concerned about whether we see .500. 



I just hope that we don't see last place.  I don't think that all responsibility falls on the players.  That's my concern.

We came out to Colorado on Thursday for a week and I see our boys broke the streak last night. Maybe I should stay out here until we win the Series. I loved looking at the box score and seeing Ortiz’s performance. I really like this guy and feel he can be special. Him going eight innings was big, especially struggling in the first and then putting his foot down. That shows something for a young guy.

I think the worm will turn and the new young Bucs will bring some positive energy.
