I don't believe in "scheduled days off" in baseball and when Moran got hurt I would have told Reynolds his just ended. Evans could have moved to 1B.

Pirates pitchers get hammered after being up 0-2 but we dont give enough credit to our hitters that swing at balls a foot off the plate on 3-2 counts
