Swinging at pitches like that explains a now 0-24 string Perez is on.

Greg Brown said Stallings is ready to return but Shelton wanted to give Perez back to back starts to try to get him hitting. The time to do that would have been after Perez broke a 1 for 18 season start by going 3 for 3 on April 24. Instead, Perez sat for a week before playing again and has gone 0 for 24 since.

Will Craig does not seem to be a good hitter. He's strong but seldom hits the ball with much authority. Lots of lazy fly balls and Ks.

Jack Flaherty is doing better at the plate then most of our guts.



Oviedo he's a rule 5 guy right? Might be time to offer him back
