So doc, who would you rather see play? VanMeter or

Abraham Nunez?  ;D ;D ;D

Can poking my eyes out be a third choice?
Lloyd Mcclendon was clueless with most things, and especially with Nunez. Nunez was helpless as a batter but a good glove for late inning defense. So naturally, McClendon usually made Nunez the first guy off the bench to PH and then out of the game and unavailable for late inning defense. In his Pirate career, Nunez had a career PH BA of .160. So it was rather astonishing that he was given 188 PH attempts by McClendon.

I despised McClendon. The night he took first base was an embarrassment. I do remember him continuously pinch hitting Nunez early in games, wondering what the heck he was doing. I’m actually surprised to know that he hit .160 in that role. I didn’t think it was that high.

Thank goodness for the bloop single by Castillo. Have no idea what Chaves was swinging at on that third strike.

Kevin Newman’s going to get himself traded if he keeps this up. 3-0 Bucs.

Sees some of the guys we were less than thrilled in there are making big contributions.

Of course, Castillo with the biggest hit, one of the guys we are thrilled to see in there.

I'm watching the (most of) rest of the game from bed, sorry if I don't contribute.

Keller didn’t walk a batter; so naturally De Jong walks the first batter he faces. Bednar won’t be available since Shelton wasted him yesterday
