That was truly a wonderful moment. So glad I was able to see it live. Best part was seeing his parents in the stands. And Cole Tucker is not only good (at least I hope he is), but he has "the look" and the personality to be a star, and to be very marketable. Of course he also has to be good. But man oh man if he could be really good and lock down SS for the next several years, that would be so critical for this franchise.

That was a pretty cool moment for Cole Tucker hitting that homerun and then getting the curtain call the way he did. It might be a blessing in disguise with Gonzalez getting hurt and Tucker getting a chance to be the everyday SS. Another win for the Pirates tonight and another well pitched game from Taillon. Let’s get the sweep tomorrow and continue to stack these wins.

Tucker coming up could be a Wally Pipp-Lou Gehrig moment. Tucker looks very comfortable in the field, and in his first at bat also stung a ball to left field.

Moments that happened today with Tucker and just some of these big extra inning homeruns and wins this team has gotten these past few weeks makes you wonder if this is just one of those special seasons where great things like this happen and this team plays winning baseball. It’s only 18 games so far but so far so good with this team as far as the dramatic wins go.
