If Josh continues to have this exceptional season I wonder how his first year of player arbitration will go. His agent is Scott Boras, and I am sure he is not going to give Pittsburgh any discount when he files his arbitration number. Bell is making $587,000 this season, I am going to assume he will be getting somewhere around 10 million dollars next year. I am sure it would be in the Bucs best interest, if they could settle with Bell rather than going to an arbitration hearing.

That will be a painful settlement for NH to agree to. I'm guessing next year we're wondering who we can get for him, especially if he continues to do well.

If he has another strong season in 2020 they could deal him rather than paying another large payout from arbitration. It is unfortunate that most of Boras clients don’t agree to multi year contracts during the arbitration years.
