Imagine Nutting saying, and believing, something like, “There’s a risk to doing nothing.” Or, “We’re here to win”.



I’m sure Nutting thinks Seidler’s a fool. And even though Nutting’s exposed in an article like this one, it won’t change him. Nothing will change him.

Losing money or a decrease in franchise value would change him, but he knows that he owns a cash cow.

SD certainly isn't standing still. Eleven year extension announced a bit ago (Sunday) for Machado - 11 years, 350 MM.

That's the same Manny Machado who told the world that he was going to opt out at the end of the season. That makes two actions that differ from words.
