Saw he was rated the best arm of any minor leaguer and will probably end up at 3b or RF. Not sure why they don't give him a chance to stick at SS. Not saying he is Derek Jeter, but he was 6'3" and seemed to do ok. Seems like he has decent power as well. Leave him at short as they have plenty of options at 3b

That is what's happening right now. He's expected to continue at short this season. They will only move him if he plays himself off the position.

Or if Cole Tucker proves to be a good ML SS. Then he'll move to 3B unless Hayes proves to be a good ML 3B in which case he'll end up in RF (or 1B).

This will never happen, but I would like to see the kid get some swings with the big club in ST to see if he can handle getting pushed.no reason to let this kid sit in the minors if he proves he can handle it. I know he is no Vlad Jr, but lets see what the kid can do.
