The trio who helped the Bucs FINALLY take down the Reds, went a combined 5-11 with 3 BB, 4 RBI, 4 R, 1 HR, and 2 2B, and were officially......

benched today. Guess all that production wore them out.

Hey, if you star one night, and the team wins, it affects the tank status - expect to sit the next game. Polanco will be in the line-up to help even things out!

It appears that Shelton is getting his Wednesday line-ups confused with his Sunday line-ups.

Geez --- Polanco at clean-up (after being disciplined, great message to the other players)

Also, the team is at home today and for the next series, so he can't use the excuse of travel schedules.

Unless Frazier and Reynolds are hurt or hurting, they should be in the line-up. And, Stokes looked like a breath of fresh air in the line-up last night. Good defense, hard-hit balls, and speed and hustle.

Also just noticed that the highest BA among the starters is Diffo at .250, and 5 players are below .200!

Cahill has not been much of a starter, but he doesn't deserve this.

Well, on the bright side, when he ran this kind of lineup the other day against the Cubs, they ended up winning.

Unless Sonny Gray can't find the plate, and/or Cahill finds the fountain of yesteryear, this one looks like another 14-1 type drubbing

all this rest will help the players during the dog days of August and the pennant race.

Maybe the Bucs won't be pushovers and can be spoilers instead.

The rest given to players by Pirate managers is ridiculous.

Maybe other teams operate this way but it just doesn't make sense.
