Good to see Gift's still chasing his dream.  I see he plays for a team in the same Independent league as the Washington Wild Things.   Hope he makes it back to the big leagues.

Looks like he's still trying to find a level where he can hit. .225 in an independant league won't get him another chance in MLB.

Taillon won his third game last night, but still has an .era of 5.43.

It is early to rate this trade, but right now the trade favors the Pirates.

Further proof that you don't need to be the fastest antelope to prevent the lion from eating you.



All you need to be is faster than the second-slowest one. ;)



You don't need to be the best very often. All you need to be is better than the guy you're up against that day. ;)
