The Pirates never had him. He was the player in trade talks between the Mets and SD. SD sent him to the Mets. In return, the Mets sent Endy Rodriguez to the Pirates so that the Pirates would send Musgrove to SD for a package of more players from SD. So the Pirates didn't actually have Lucchesi and flip him, nor did SD actually have Rodriguez and flip him. The 3 teams each worked out the players they would acquire from the others.

Cutch only had one grand slam with the Pirates. I believe it was in September of his last season in Pittsburgh.
