I think the Orioles are not going to be happy with the number of pitches Bautista has thrown in the 8th, he's thrown 28 to get two outs.
They're taking him out now, one of the former player commentators didn't sound too happy that they let him throw that many pitches.

then again, us old timers remember when the starter would sometimes go 3 innings.
The Other Games
Hader pitching bottom of the 8th
The Other Games
Nice double play for the NL.
Top of the 9th.
Top of the 9th.

AL has only one pitcher left. NL has 4. My guess is Kimbrel gets the call for the save. Burnes and Senga are the other 2 NL pitchers, and they're starters, so I doubt they see a save situation
The Other Games
I called it, Kimbrel coming on.
The Other Games
Kimbrel 2 out walk brings up home town hero Julio Rodriguez with a chance to be a hero
The Other Games
Another walk. Kimbrel at 25 pitches, but it's his manager calling the shots, so no one can complain.
The Other Games
Kimbrel strikes out Jose Ramirez.
NL wins after 9 years!

One of the cool things I always liked about this game was that all the team’s uniforms were on the field. Some things should just be left alone.
I always took pride in seeing the Pirate uniform among the All-Stars. But I guess nothing is as satisfying as generic uniforms. ::)
It's all about money. Teams can sell a lot of AS jerseys and line their pockets. Money trumps tradition.
