One of my favorite players, JD Martinez, ties the Cardinals in the 6th with a 3-run HR.

I know what you're getting at here, but that kind of nonsense alway p's me off- when guys talk smack when they aren't any better:
He's no Vin Scully. Thinks they have a bunch of Tampa Bay Rays out there.
This guy's saying that our division's bad? Look at his own darned division.
A chain is only as good as its weakest link. Our weakest link is the Reds. His is the Rockies.
All the guy had to say is that the Cards got off to a poor start. They're playing better. He expects them to win the division by 10 games.
.
I'd take his bet. Even if the Cards win it, I think that it would be by fewer than 10 games.
Whomever that guy is, he's the kind who'd welch, too.

I watched some of the Padres/Red Sox game yesterday. The Padres' announcers apparently went to the Brown/Walk school of comedy broadcasting. Or perhaps taught the class. Seemingly endless camera time in the booth laughing it up about non baseball related stuff. Had to turn it off.

Though the last place- but, .531 Blue Jays pecked away at the first place, .700 Rays for 27 hits on their way to their 20-1 win, it was that error that did them in; thereby handing the RD lead to the Strangers.

Brewers get pounded by the Giants 15-1
A's lose 5-2 to Astros to drop to 10-43.
A's very well could finish with the worst
record ever

It’ll be interesting to see in what ways the Athletics will change, ownership and Front office-wise, when they move to Las Vegas. How much more money will be available to them to spend on payroll will be worth watching, and then how the organization spends it.
Vegas will be the fourth city the franchise has called home.
