More ABs for VanMeter. Yay! At least the game's on Peacock so most of us won't see it.

I get Peacock but it's Labor Day Weekend and the boss says

"we are going to the beach".

You've got an intelligent "boss", you don't have to listen to Brown on the radio. I wish broadcast management would take a page from Shelty and give Brown a rest day from being a broadcasting ass!

After this loss today and another sweep the Pirates will have lost 30 of their last 40 games since the All Star Break. I know they gave Shelton a vote of confidence coming back next season but if this continues on this pace the last 3-4 weeks of the season it’s gonna be very hard to justify them bringing Shelton and this entire staff back next year.

Would anyone take it seriously even if an attempt was made to justify anything? The next guy would be just as much of a dice roll, doing what he's told, anyway.

A number of seats deserve to be at least- warm. His is one. This cannot go on much longer, IMO.

Bucs tie it 3-3 after a 2-run double by VanMeter (no, that's not a typo) and solo HR by Cruz.

But who among us would have guessed that today was VanMeter's day? No, it took that savvy Shelton to get him out there on just the right day.

So, Mr. Savvy doubles down; bringing in Underwhelming in what has been, to this point, anyway- a tied game.
