Only better was late Foster Hewitt from Hockey Night in Canada. Lange in my lifetime is comparable to Bob "The Gunner" Prince.

I'm with you Possum! My wife and I never miss a radio broadcast with Mike Lange. These days he only does the play-by-play for home games (with a few exceptions), but we treasure every game that we get to hear Mr Lange. When I was younger and more foolish, I took Bob Prince for granted; I assumed he'd be doing Pirate games forever. When he was let go I was crushed. Lesson learned. I won't make that mistake again.
BTW- It's a hockey night in Pittsburgh tonight, so you can catch Mike on the radio broadcast at 7 PM.

Yeah, I have a bad feeling this season is Mike Lange's "phasing out" year with him only doing home games. We might see him retiring altogether this off-season.
