nothing like the best support for Roansy! Although some may say it is a hodgepodge.

Checking in from PNC, Let's Go Bucs!!!

As bad as the lineup looks, the only other position players are Marcano, Cruz, Heineman and VanMeter.
Marcano is hitting .250 vs LHP so he's an option despite being a LH batter. Cruz is only hitting .191 vs LHP but he's only hitting .198 vs RHP. So I guess it doesn't matter who is pitching, Cruz isn't going to hit. VanMeter has no business being in MLB and Heineman is the backup catcher. I guess when your roster is a HPON*, one player's as good (or bad) as another.
*(HPON = hodgepodge of nothingness)

Contreras only pitched 14 innings at Indy. They gave him nearly 3 weeks off after the Pirates optioned him and then he made 4 starts going 2 then 3 then 4 than 5 innings.

Nice of the Pirates to get their 2 runs out of the way as early as possible. It's sad that you look at this lineup and can't really think anyone is due for a hit or expect a hit.

In the NL, only 2 players with as many or more PAs (181) as VanMeter have a worse BA than his .188. Max Muncy at .186 is one. The other is Yoshi Tsutsugo (.171).

Wonder if the bucs will pick up Max?
