Official Game Thread - 6/8 - Bucs vs Dodgers

I am going to be busy picking up my new computer and doing fine-tuning of it tonight so would someone else put the lineups in before the game. I may get in sometime during the game.

Looks like the always clever Shelton is keeping the Dodgers waiting with anticipation and fear.

Dodgers have posted their line-up, but the Bucs have not yet countered with their awe-inspiring contingent of Polanco in right, Tom or Gamel in left, and a light-hitting shortstop. But, with Brubaker on the mound, assuming he makes it through the first three innings, the Bucs have a secret offensive force in the 9 hole.

The PG reports Evans and Keller return to the roster today. That means 2 spots on the 26 man and 1 spot on the 40 man roster have to open up. That seems to be the delay in posting the lineup since every other team playing at 7:05 has posted theirs.

Cherington has probably swung some trades this afternoon and we're still awaiting the announcements. I'm expecting something like Polanco for Soto. That's a DeSoto, circa 1946.

I know Difo and Evans seem to serve similar purpose, but I thought for sure that Tom was going to go

I'm very surprised about Difo. He's versatile and hitting .296 as one of the NL's top PHers. He won't clear waivers. Can't see how Tom is better for the team.
