I think the strategy is to make Davis as uncomfortable as possible for his MLB debut.

With such a potent lineup as this, we see that TCBT is serious about exacting revenge on the Cubs tonight.

Davis’ arrival makes me not only think about tonight’s line-up but the one we might expect two years from now when a couple of the youngest signees will arrive by this point in the season.

Wehner was talking about how game conditions are better in the majors than in the minors. I once played a tournament at the Bowie Baysox stadium (the Orioles' AA team). Instead of the immaculate grass we always see in MLB outfields, there were bare spots in the general areas where the outfielders stood. That can cause bad hops going from grass to dirt to grass. I was surprised they didn't take better care of a AA outfield.
